Universe Pakistan this year Erica Robin, revealed their pledge toward encouraging halal and wellness travel in the Philippines, after the country’s bagging of the Emerging Muslim-Friendly Destination Award previously this year.
By 2028, the Muslim travel space estimated to touch $225 billion, the Philippines’ administration declared that increasing overseas influxes from the Middle East and Muslim-majority countries is among its precedence objectives. Tourism Undersecretary Myra Paz Valderrosa-Abubakar said that the journey of the Miss Universes to the Philippines would be a huge improvement for their country that would positively affect the worldwide Muslim community to come to the archipelago country, which is home to white sand seashores, well-known diving places, dynamic amusement, varied traditional inheritance and
distinguishing wildlife.
The two Miss Universe queens came to Manila this weekend to cooperate with the Philippine Department
of Tourism for upholding its ‘Halal and Wellness Tourism’ promotion welcoming more tourists from Arab
and Muslim nations to understand the Philippines, beginning with eco-luxury holistic wellness resort –The
Farm at San Benito.
