After Hamas attack, Israel stops its tourism right away

Tourism only recently was defined as the symbol of peace to develop relations between Middle East and Israel. Saturday’s shocking Hamas attack on the country has given a death toll of over 1,000 till now, totally bringing a pause into its tourism, and delaying further hopes in terms of stability in the area.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israel PM, broadcasted just after the attack of the Hamas group in few sections of the country including Tel Aviv by saying to the citizens that they are at war. Hamas stormed and opened fire in the south of the country. At that time, a festival was going on with more than 3,000 people.

Over 260 dead bodies have been recovered reportedly from the site of the festival, as per Zaka, the rescue agency, reported the BBC. Others have been taken as prisoners. International tourism has replied by freezing travel to Israel right away and telling everyone out there to steer clear of the country.

The largest carriers of the industry across the world have stopped their travel routes to Israel, as international governments like the US, have issued a declaration – Do Not Travel to Gaza and Exercise Increased Caution When Traveling To Israel or the West Bank of the country, due to violence and civil
turbulence.
