AirBaltic, the Latvian national airline, has unveiled its expanded winter flight schedule, introducing three new routes from its main hub in Riga. Commencing December 22, airBaltic will launch weekly flights to Innsbruck, Austria, strategically situated near renowned skiing resorts such as St. Anton, Ischgl, and the Stubai Glacier. This marks airBaltic’s third Austrian destination alongside Vienna and Salzburg.

Additionally, airBaltic will enhance its service to Egypt with twice-weekly flights to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh. Travelers can choose between Business and Economy Class tickets, available for direct purchase from the airline. Continuing their partnership, TezTour and airBaltic will facilitate journeys to these Egyptian destinations, offering access to pristine beaches, historic landmarks, world-class diving spots, and bustling local markets.

Martin Gauss, President and CEO of airBaltic: “As we continue to assess market dynamics and passenger demand, airBaltic is committed to expanding its network and enhancing connectivity. We have identified an opportunity to expand our winter season network by adding already a third route to Austria, conveniently located near top ski resorts, thus providing easy access for lovers of winter sports and activities. Additionally, we will start operating scheduled flights to leisure destinations in Egypt, offering customers the chance to escape the colder winter months and enjoy warm weather.”

airBaltic continues to be the leading airline in the region, and by expanding our network with new routes during the winter season, we aim to strengthen our position and ambition to grow, enhancing connectivity from the Baltics to the rest of the world,” Gauss added.

Tickets in both Economy and Business Class are now available for purchase on airBaltic’s official website at www.airbaltic.com.

In the upcoming winter season, airBaltic plans to introduce six new routes from the Baltic States—four departing from Riga, one from Tallinn, and one from Vilnius. Among these routes is Madeira, which will be connected to Riga with two weekly flights. Madeira stands out as a unique destination, offering a stunning leisure experience with its breathtaking natural scenery.

airBaltic provides both Economy Class and Business Class options on all its flights. Business Class passengers enjoy a comprehensive full-service experience, including priority check-in and boarding, seating at the front of the cabin with an adjacent free seat for added privacy, a three-course gourmet meal, unlimited beverages, and expedited disembarkation upon arrival.

Operating over 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere, and seasonally from Gran Canaria, airBaltic offers extensive connections throughout Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region.
