Around $6.7 million support for New Brunswick tourism

On Friday, officials declared about $6.7 million support for a total of 53 projects. The Tourism Relief Fund of the federal government is all prepared to offer this money.

The minister responsible for ACOA, Ginette Petitpas Taylor, said that they have so much to feel great of their beautiful province, and they have so much to share with their visitors.

Taylor said that as they launch the tourism season, they are affirming once again the key importance of the sector to their financial system, and are devoted to help New Brunswick businesses and organizations related to tourism to build up the superlative experiences that make Atlantic Canada such a favorite destination for everyone.

Petitpas Taylor emphasized few projects that would be funded during the announcement in Fredericton on Friday.

In Cap-Pelé, Camping Plage Aboiteau Beach will get $500,000 to build a glamping resort. Glamping is a term used to explain a lavish experience in camping. In Saint Andrews, Salty Towers Inn will get $100,000 for revamping everything.

Besides, in Red Bank, Metepenagiag Heritage Park will receive $500,000 for a contemporary Indigenous interpretive site.

The funding will be done besides $6.4 million announced erstwhile for 53 New Brunswick businesses.
