Wine Spectator magazine has honored Council Oak Steaks and Seafood Restaurant at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City with its prestigious 2024 Award of Excellence. This recognition celebrates Council Oak’s exceptional wine program, which boasts a collection of over 350 wines from more than a dozen countries. The restaurant offers an extensive selection by-the-glass, half-bottle, and large format, showcasing a diverse range of varietals, regions, and price points.
Located overlooking the iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk, Council Oak Steaks and Seafood Restaurant is renowned for its sophisticated American steakhouse cuisine. Specialties include USDA dry-aged prime steaks and impeccably fresh seafood, prepared in an open kitchen equipped with top-tier culinary tools such as a Josper Charcoal Oven and Argentine-style wood burning grill. Additionally, Council Oak features a Butcher Shop with a Himalayan salt-brick-walled chamber, where meats are aged for up to 45 days, personally selected, and hand-sculpted.
Council Oak’s bar complements its culinary offerings with a curated selection of high-end spirits, enhancing the dining experience with renowned liquors and exclusive options.

Council Oak Steaks and Seafood Restaurant welcomes guests with dining hours from 5 to 10 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday, extending to 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday. Additionally, guests can indulge in the Champagne Brunch experience at Council Oak every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
