As per the data shared by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, the country by 2023 end is aiming 1.55 million foreign tourists with a prediction of the stats increasing to 2.5 million by 2024 and an estimated target of 4 million tourists by 2030.
The chairman of SLTPB, Chalaka Gajabahu, said that as Sri Lanka laid the roadmap for revival and transformation of tourism, India is, and will always be a long time and remain their number one market to capture.
