InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, a prestigious brand within IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, has officially opened the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk. This new 390-room establishment boasts over 18,000 square feet of meeting space, four distinctive dining and bar venues, and exceptional concierge service by Les Clefs d’Or, elevating the standard for luxury hospitality in the area.
Situated just a mile from the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and mere steps from the iconic River Walk, this 21-story hotel offers easy access to numerous attractions, including The Alamo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Pearl, and the La Villita Historic Village. Additionally, guests can enjoy direct access to a water taxi landing, providing a scenic and convenient travel option along the city’s serene waterways.

Designed by Leo A Daly, the hotel’s aesthetic marries mid-century architecture with modern finishes, incorporating organic textures and materials reflective of San Antonio’s heritage. The décor features plush velvet furniture in vibrant colors, contrasted with a neutral color palette and rich materials like brass, marble, dark wood, cognac leather, and glass.
